2. In-House Development

Another essential way for us to control the course of our business is by developing software in-house. In 2011, our CEO & Founder Conor Power custom-built Interpreter Intelligence for our first customer (click here to learn more). A software engineer at heart, Conor spent several months gathering the customer’s requirements and finetuning the first draft of the platform, while laying the groundwork for a highly configurable and scalable interpreter platform. By assembling our own team of engineers and by developing everything in-house, we’re able to maintain control over the development timeline, release regular software updates, and maintain a clear vision of our product roadmap down the road.

As we’ve said before, scalability is a fundamental operational strategy for language service providers.
